Diver Stress and Rescue

Diving safety is a primary concern. With the Diver Stress and Rescue program, any certified diver can become a more comfortable and safe diver, as well as a valued dive buddy.

Learn how to detect and prevent stress in yourself and your diving companions, while developing the rescue skills needed to help another diver. Learn firsthand how to administer immediate care to a victim of a diving accident.

After successful completion of the course you will earn the SSI Stress and Rescue Diver certification. This course can be used for credit towards the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver rating and meets one critical prerequisite for the SSI Master Diver rating.

Our Stress & Rescue program costs $125, which includes you tuition, certification card and processing, and ocean dives with a Stress and Rescue instructor. Class materials and equipment rentals are extra.

Current certification in First Aid/CPR is a prerequisite for this course.
